“Jett N Blue Drifter” is a 15.1H AQHA registered 2016 gorgeous gorgeous mare – enter word PERFECTION!   Style. Comfort. Versatility. You get it all with this big and beautiful mare.

 

“Denim” is FANCY BROKE and EASY….. and oh so comfortable! This is type you want to sit all day long – she has a to die for pitter pattern jog, big ground covering extended trot, and a balanced lope.  I would LOVE to see this mare in the ranch riding/ranch pleasure pen – she is an incredible mover and is really soft/broke in the bridle and at her sides. She is a finished drill team, queening, and flag horse. She knows her job and thrives on the rumble of a crowd cheering for her. She has gas in the tank, but only when prompted. I do not consider her an overly forward/hot ride – she can read the room and is really adjustable.  She could also transition into the western dressage industry with her handle and poise. She has been hauled extensively to events and shows where she has performed with a youth rider.   This is the kind of mare you are PROUD to unload off your trailer and showcase.

Denim LOVES to trail ride, check fences, ride at the beach, and move cattle. She is relaxed, quiet, and a dream out on the trails. She does not get worked up when pushing cows and keeps a calm as a cucumber mindset when the cows get a bit frisky. We have found that she prefers to be a lead horse with her ground covering stride, and with that is very brave and happy on a loose rein. She will willingly cruise wherever you point and take her! Wading through water, carefully stepping over logs, navigating steep terrain, and crossing bridges are a walk in the park for her. She has great body control, will side pass and maneuver a gate with ease. She isn’t fazed by traffic, ATVs, tractors, cattle, dogs, flags etc. Denim has a yes ma’am kind of attitude and has 0 mare-ittude. Denim WILL not freshen up with time off and rode off gentle for us after sitting for an extended period. No buck, rear, kick, bolt etc.   No lunge prep necessary  - pull from the stall/field and go!

On the ground, Denim is kind and respectful. She is not ear pinny and has not offered to kick out at any other horses.  She is not pushy and has zero stall vices. She loads and hauls like a dream and is great for vet/farrier. The first week she was here, she did set back in the cross ties, but has not offered to do so since. I am unaware if she has ever been in the cross ties before, as she does not have a history of setting back with her prior 2 owners. I gather that this was likely a one-off isolated instance – putting it in the ad so there is full transparency.

Denim sells with a complete pre-sale vet statement of soundness on file and a set of clean x-rays. She sells 100% sound and ready for her new owner to enjoy. She just had her teeth done and sells with a current coggins. She has black hooves and stands barefoot currently.  Owned for 5 years by her current owner, kids are now off to college. It was no easy decision letting such a unicorn of a mare go, but we are confident she will make another family or individual extremely happy and proud.
