They don’t make them any prettier, and he certainly is picture worthy in every way. Here at LB Equine, we have your number #1 priority at best, safety. “Tux” is not only qualified; he is exemplary and one of a kind in this department. “Tux” is a thick boned 15.2H, true black/white, 2009 grade gelding. He is smoke bomb safe, train safe, and “unflappable” as they come! Nothing fazes this gelding, and he has miles and miles of good trails under his belt. He isn’t riddled with bad habits, and always is happy go lucky. He has been trail ridden all over East TX – and was formerly an old ladies trail mount!  He goes out alone, or with a group with ease. Naturally very laid back, and never hot/nervous/or anxious of a horse.

He is the furthest thing from fancy in the arena, but he tries hard each ride. Tux has a basic dashboard that is simple to operate. He just underwent 30 days of western dressage training, and progressed well. He is beginning to understand how to come into the bridle and use his back correctly in the working trot + canter. He has a lofty canter, good extended trot, and overall offers a forward ride that is desirable for the lower level. He has a started pivot, side passes, backs, and has a rate-y stop off your seat. Tux is gentle in each and every way, he offers no buck, rear, bolt, spook, kick, or bite. He is one of the best mannered geldings in the barn, and can live out or inside the barn. Ride him all week, or once a month – he can be your weekend warrior too!  No sourness, no tricks up his sleeve, just a solid trail blazer. Here is a great horse for your novice husband or friend to ride alongside you, you can rest assured Tux will bring them home in one piece!

I see Tux developing under a dressage trainer and performing well at the lower level, or keep him the safe trail horse that he is today! He is a sweetheart of a horse, that enjoys the bonding aspect of horsemanship.   Tux is up to date on all vetting, coggins, dental, chiro, and farrier. He was recently vetted and flexes + moves SOUND. He is shod, clean legged, never injured, and an easy keeper. Ground ties, easy to catch, loads easy on a trailer, stands tied, and quiet to mount. Tux gets along with our other horses and is not aggressive at feeding time.  Tux is located in Terrell, TX. Shipping available nation-wide.
