This growing 3yo filly is STOUT, big footed, heavy boned, and wide. Out of a half Friesian half Percheron mare and by the Sire Smart Smoken Playboy who is an own son of Freckles Playboy & Docs Hickory!

Sweetie is incredibly gentle and kind. Ranch on her, develop her in a dressage program, teach her to drive, fox hunt her, or simply trail ride her – opportunities are endless.  Sweetie spent 3 months in West TX working the feed yards and roping cattle in the wheat pastures. This filly has seen a lot of rough Country and is sure footed, quiet, and confident outside. She will take you securely down ravines, over bridges and fallen logs, and through water. Traffic, tractors, ATV’s, skid steers, cattle, wildlife – nothing seems to faze her.  She was developed very slowly and is soft in the sides and in the mouth. She will go your desired speed and is not hot at all. Sweetie offers a ground covering walk, a pitter patter jog, and will extend into a reaching extended trot. Her gaits are lofty and comfortable to sit. No vices, no lunge prep, we get on and go. She has never been cold backed even on a brisk 30 degree morning in West TX!  Stalls fantastic and is easy to catch in a large field. In a field of other horses if (and only if) she is challenged from an alpha perspective, she will be the leader as she has a strong desire to be boss mare of the herd.

Sweetie is breeder owned with a solid foundation under her and many wise years ahead of her. She is up to date on deworming, vaccines, dental, and sells 100% sound barefoot with a vet statement on file. Registration within IDSHR is currently pending.
