“Jax” has all the color, size, and pedigree you would want to stand out in the crowd! Born in 2010, this APHA registered, 16H, 1250# gelding is the biggest puppy dog you will ever own.  He comes from the finest racing lines and does have a lip tattoo, but never raced. He prefers to take the slow lane in life and is just that – slow, steady, and lazy. Jax is the sweetest, cuddliest, and funniest horse in the barn – he is a total lover boy! You’ll often catch him playing in the pond or with the water hose!

Jax is a total push ride, what you put in is what you’ll get out of him. He offers a comfortable trot and canter that you will want to ride all day long! Jax has never offered to buck or freshen up, even with extreme time off! Ride him once a year, or 5x a week, he will be the same horse.  He rides like a big ole elephant, with a nice and easy handle whether you want to ride one or two handed. Jax is great in the bridle, he moves off leg, and has a good whoa and back up. With more finesse he could easily make a low - level western dressage horse.  Over the years he has been to a few barrel racing clinics but has not been entered much.  With more exposure and seasoning he could make a great ranch using/rope or grand entry/queening horse. He most definitely has the size and substance to be a rodeo pickup/using gelding!  Not spooky, naturally wants to be very quiet, will carry the tarp/flag, but he isn’t a bombproof- deadhead.

 He is easy to catch, saddle, bridle, load, clip, load, and stands for the vet/farrier.  He has a current coggins, and is UTD on care.  Jax is shod, sound, and is uncomplicated to own. If you are looking for a versatile all-round gelding that is BIG, PRETTY, and GENTLE – here he is!
