Here is a beautiful and truly one-of-a-kind triple registered (APHA/AQHA/PtHA) bay overo gelding. Standing just a tick in between 15H-15.1H, this 2018 model has beautiful conformation with thick bone/muscle. With two blue eyes, 4 white socks, and a gorgeous bald face - Beau has an abundance of chrome! He stands out in any crowd and will win you over with his incredibly sweet personality. Beau begun his career as a Halter show-horse. He landed into the top 10 at the APHA World Show in 2018 and is a veteran in the pen. Since then, he has been used on a ranch performing many ranch duties; checking fence lines, branding days, pasture roping, sorting cows, moving mama and baby cows, and tracking. He has a great work ethic, and is brave/bold at any task you ask of him. We have found that Beau is naturally very cowy – in fact, he loves to work cows! He has been to a few horsemanship clinics, ranch riding shows, obstacle challenge events, and even rode in a Parade downtown- needless to say he is very seasoned off property. He is a barn favorite by many, and a “go to” mount to handle all those tasks. He handles the commotion like a seasoned pro for a youngster – with a really good brain! Never arguing about an obstacle, Beau will cross water, navigate over fallen branches, cruise over bridges, and will ride out alone or in a group. You can carry the tarp / flag, or drag a log off him too! His combined experience as a show and ranch horse sets him above the rest, and I truly see this gelding excelling as a ranch rider/ranch pleasure/versatility mount. With 3 sets of papers, you have endless opportunity to show him in any registry you would like! Despite his “show horse roots” Beau lives a happy ranch horse life too and is incredibly fun and smooth to ride out on the trail/pasture. He has excellent stall manners – he does not weave, crib, pace, etc. He clips, ties, bathes, loads, hauls, and stands quiet for mounting. Good for the farrier/vet and does not have a mean bone in his body. He has no bad habits under saddle and has had a great education thus far. Beau is a really kind gelding, he loves grooming, and is very playful with his friends in the pasture. He is quirky about people messing with his ears. Beau has been genetic tested and is 6 panel negative. He is UTD on all vet work – sells with a current coggins, shots, dental float on file, etc. Beau has a cosmetic scar on his left front foot and sells 100% sound. He has good feet and is an easy keeper.
