Slim Shadee" is the total package of brains, braun, and boy is he stylish!  Born in 2012, standing at a solid 14.2HH, Slim is THICK as can be, and is built right. He has had professional reining training, has been day worked off of, and has seen the sights on the trail! You will be HARD pressed to find another one as pretty, conformationally correct, and broke as Slim! He hunts the stop, and is handy to work a gate, side pass, and spin both ways! He offers a comfortable ride at the walk, trot, extended trot, and lope. Ride him in a halter or a port bit, he knows both leads, has a lead change, body control, a soft backup, and is really a simple ride! Always the first to greet you at the gate, Slim LOVES to have a job! With day work/ ranch experience, he has had a rope swung off of him, has drug objects, and would be a jam up heel or ranch horse! Go rope off him, show him in the ranch classes, or just pleasure ride, he is a super neat guy. Slim is FEARLESS on the trail! He has been hauled to various campgrounds to trail ride with beginners, he stood quietly on the highline and was great around other horses. He does not mind being in the front or the back of the pack and will happily trail ride out alone. He will go through and over just about anything you point him at. Water, bridges, tarps, dogs, cattle, traffic, commotion, you name it- he doesn’t care about it! Slim has a gentle demeanor day in and day out. He is easy to be around, and is great to groom, tie, ground tie, haul, and handle on the ground. He is a Mrs. Pasture’s cookie connoisseur, and knows how to lay down on command!!! That’s right, Slim knows TRICKS! Slim has one of those personalities that anyone can fall in love with, and once he has trust in you, he will give you everything he can! He can be fresh/cold backed if left off for extended times, he works best in a consistent program.

Slim is extremely sound, with no known health issues. He has EXCELLENT feet (barefoot) and is an easy keeper! He is a gentleman to handle on the ground, and is great turned out with other horses, or kept in a stall (he even relieves himself in one corner making for EASY stall cleaning.. yes you read that right ). He is not registered, but could be eligible for a hardship registry with PtHA or ApHC. The owners had purchased this guy for their mother, but she is now unable to ride to due health reasons, so he sadly must go! This guy has a TON to offer someone, and I want to make sure he ends up in the right hands!
