"Big Red" is a gorgeous 2013 AQHA registered roan gelding standing a solid 16 hands tall. This gentle giant has many show miles under his belt. He went Circuit Champion in Youth Aged Geldings and Reserve Champion Open Aged Geldings at the 2021 AQHA World show with a youth rider! He has been shown at color breed congress and received 5th in All Breed Amateur W/T Ideal Ranch Riding with a youth. Big Red strides out beautifully for the hunter under saddle! He goes around gorgeous across the ground with a lovely big stride that is eye catching. He would make a brilliant western dressage horse as well!  He is soft in a snaffle and comes into a frame effortlessly. Side passes, knows his leads, pivots, and has a great whoa button/back up! Big Red does not require any lunging prior to riding and is the same ride whether you ride him once a month or once a week. Safe with no buck/bolt/rear. He ADORES toting around youth riders and is a straight forward kinda guy – never looking to cheat you. Suitable for any level rider, I would love to find him another youth kiddo or older person to tote around. He will pony other horses, and is never grumpy, he is always willing and ready for your next cue. He has an adorable friendly out-going personality, is easy to catch/tie, stands quiet as a mouse for mounting, respectful for vet/farrier etc.  With his show experience, kind, and seasoned temperament we know he will make a great partner for any youth or adult looking for confidence in and outside the show pen!

Sells with a vet report on file, 100% sound and barefoot. Recently dewormed, vaccinated, and teeth floated. Not currently on any maintenance as well! He is in his winter woolies, and wears a size 80 blanket when it drops below freezing. He can live a show horse lifestyle in a stall (neat in a stall) or be kicked out to the pasture with friends just fine. No known vices. Hops right in the trailer, trailers well, backs off like a gentleman.  HYPP N/N per his papers.  All paperwork in hand and ready to transfer.  Looking for an older seasoned been there done that gelding to show in the all-around or play at home?
