Dunny is a super fun, SAFE, and reliable AQHA registered gelding. Standing 14.2HH, this 2009 model is just the perfect height for everyone to enjoy. For all you 4h-ers, foxhunters, pony clubbers, western dressage, trail blazers, and drill team/playday enthusiasts – this guy should be at the top of your list! Dunny is peppy, always ear perked, and happy to do the job at hand. He is super CUTE and a great moving guy, offering an incredibly comfy canter to sit! He goes english/ western and takes new things in stride.

He formerly was a family horse where the kids did parades, grand entry, playday events, trail riding, jumping, and sorting with him. He was used in several kids camps/lessons so he has a lot of exposure to the crazy shenanigans that kids do. We have not found anything to spook this guy, but I would not consider him a foot in the grave/ deadhead (ears are always alert). He is agreeable on the ground, personable, and enjoys attention. Stands fantastic in the cross ties, picks up his feet, easy to saddle/bridle, bathes, fly sprays, stands quiet for mounting,  – all that jazz. Safe safe safe. He is super soft in the mouth (goes in an o ring snaffle or correction bridle) and has more go then whoa (equipped with excellent brakes). This gelding is easy to get going, and listens to your seat very well, if you sit and say whoa he listens!  He jumps super cute, brave, bold, collects into the bridle with ease, and will also ride around on a loose rein. Id love to see him in an english program too – he would be adorbs.

Dunny has never offered to buck, rear, bolt, spook etc. He is the same horse day in and day out, and requires no lunge prep. He trail rides confidently with a group or by himself, he goes thru water easily, and navigates over bridges perfectly. He is super sure footed out on the trail and is careful with his feet over logs and uneven terrain. He never flinched when we brought out the tarp or carried the flag like a seasoned vet.  Loads/unloads with no hesitation. Hauls fantastic to new arenas. He will do best with an assertive rider that enjoys a naturally forward horse (think responsive to leg not a runaway).
