“Macrie” is a sweetheart! She is the best teacher one could ever wish for! She is by the NCHA World Champion sire “Quixote Mac” and out of Million Dollar producer “Mae Bea Marie”. She has successfully been shown in the AQHA and NCHA. Having $2,028 NCHA earnings and 29.5 AQHA youth/amateur show points in team penning & ranch sorting. She is a proven producer with 6 foals on the ground, and has successfully been used in an Embryo Transfer program. 

Macrie has an easy to sit trot & comfortable lope, she slides to a stop on “whoa”, turns around, side passes, works a gate, and is soft in the bridle.  No bridle required on this one – she moves off leg pressure and has a point and shoot 1 hand neck rein.  Simply drop your hand and she will take care of you!  Macrie is the perfect starter horse, whether you are looking to start up your own elite breeding program OR looking to have fun and compete. She is a finished cutter, sorter, and ranch rider. Watch her videos where she took care of a 9 year old beginner rider - her first time riding a cutter! She recently took a novice 13-year-old girl to a show in Oklahoma placing 1st in the Working Cow, 2nd in the Ranch Pleasure, 3rd in Trail, 3rd in Reining bringing home the RESERVE ALL AROUND in OKSHA!  Macrie is SAFE, reliable, and honest – this mare has ZERO vices, no buck /bolt/rear/bite/kick etc. She can sit for a year and be saddled and rode off without an issue. She will even trot over to you in the pasture and will shove her face in the halter. Macrie is respectful on the ground, she loads herself into a trailer, stands tied, quiet for mounting, rides out alone or with a group, and is easy for vet/farrier.  She has a very mellow temperament and doesn’t ever get hot but she will still go when asked (don’t let her age fool you!). She is suitable for a beginner/ novice and has a lot more to give and teach. She sports a fancy handle, with bells and whistles for any ride to enjoy and learn on.

Macrie is automatic on a cow, and is W I C K E D fun – I mean, who doesn’t love to ride a finished cutter? She loves to trail ride, travels well, and gets along great with others.  This is a very agreeable, fun, and solid mare. Ride her and/or breed her, her babies will pay for herself in no time! She is open to breed now, and is cycling regularly. Her last foal was May 2020. She takes on the first try, is a lovely mother, and has no foaling complications.  Her teeth were recently floated, and our equine dentist noted she had a few teeth missing which do not affect her in any way. She is shod, but can go barefoot. Very clean legged, no known soundness issues or injuries. Not receiving any special care/maintenance. EASY keeper – current coggins.
