Introducing “Lena” a 2016 AQHA plain bay 14.2H mare!  She may be plain but I will tell you, she is so smooth/comfortable to ride!  Lena is miss steady eddie down the trail! She is a great mover in the arena too. I just love her adjustable stride and her pitter patter jog –  she rates off your seat too! She is soft in the bridle and naturally wants to ride low headed/level with her withers. Lena has spent most of her life trail riding and raising babies. She guides well, moves off leg, stops, backs, and is snaffle mouthed. Whilst she has a basic handle in the arena, we strongly believe with more time she could develop into an adorable ranch rider, hunter show horse, foxhunter, or even team penner/sorter.  She has float-y movement (cute toe flicking trot) and such a rhythmic rocking chair canter that is so fun to ride.  Lena loves water (she will take you swimming in the pond if you let her!). She willingly will take you through ponds or creeks, she steps over fallen logs, and will carefully navigate over bridges. Lena is naturally very quiet and good minded. We have carried the flag/tarp and drug the log off her. She is easy to catch and is low man on the totem poll in a herd. This mare is KIND – no mare-y shenanigans, never ear pinny, and zero kicking stall wall nonsense. Lena wants to be easy and agreeable.  She has zero stall vices, loads in a trailer, is good for vet/farrier, and stands quiet for mounting.  She is a reliable pick in our barn to go down the trail and is happy to go your desired speed! Lena is barefoot (good black feet), clean legged, with no vices or known soundness/health issues. She has a recent dental, deworming, and coggins on file. She has proven to be an easy breeder/wonderful mother in the past - talk about something you can ride/show & breed in the future (currently open).  For those bargain hunters - this one won't last long!
