"Little Bear" is a 𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐲 that came from a 𝐤𝐢𝐝’𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦.

Standing a petite stature of 𝟏𝟑.𝟑/𝟏𝟒𝐇, this 𝟐𝟎𝟎𝟑, grade, quarter / welsh type pony is such a kind soul. Does anyone remember their first pony as a kid? The one that would walk through fire, go around the ring again and again and again with their ears perked forward, jump over the picnic tables bareback, canter in the pastures when mom wasn’t looking, and swim in those freezing cold stock tanks—all for a cookie and a good neck scratch from their lil cowgirl/boy? Little Bear is THAT pony! He is absolutely without a doubt 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐞, 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐫. He 𝐣𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐬, 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐥𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬, softly bridles up, and has no buck/rear/stop/spook/bolt. The kids fight over who gets to ride Little bear first because he is that 𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐲, 𝐟𝐮𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞! He also 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐬, 𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐰𝐬, has been shown locally, and does the barrels/poles. Little Bear is a great 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐲, he has a motor when asked and does not require spurs/a crop to keep going! Little Bear is a good forward pony, but not a runaway, nor is he nervous/jiggy. He rides around in a simple snaffle, collects into frame with ease, goes around the ring cadenced and cute, and has a great stop. If you can sit up in the saddle you can ride Little Bear; he is that considerate, adjustable, and 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠. He jumps anything you put him in front of him without hesitation, swims across the pond, rides over bridges, over fallen logs, and will push cattle across the terrain. He has been a kids camp/lesson string veteran for most all his life – unfortunately with COVID the kids camp is shutting their doors. He has 𝐙𝐄𝐑𝐎 𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐬, and is not barn/gate sour! Little Bear is sound, has great black barefeet, and has a recent dental and coggins on file. He is not receiving any special maintenance or supplements. He is easy to catch, loads onto any trailer, backs off the trailer, stands tied, and is gentle for anyone to handle. Little Bear is a fantastic starter all around pony with many more years left in him, their loss is your gain.
