“Gypsy” is a beautiful girl, amateur friendly, and is loaded with potential.

This is a mare of exceptional quality in breeding, temperament and talent. She is by Gitana MOR (PRE) and out of a registered APHA mare. Gypsy stands a true 15.1H and was born in 2013. She is registered with the IALHA(papers in hand) and is AAHIA eligible as well. She has had a late start in life due to no fault of her own, and had a beautiful colt last Spring. Gypsy has been extensively trail ridden all over Texas and Arkansas, and is incredibly sure footed with a good mind out on the trail. Not only is she stunning to look at, Gypsy is a beautiful mover! Her walk is cadenced and her trot offers a ground covering and suspenseful movement. Her canter is expressive, uphill, yet comfortable to sit. She is easy and straight-forward to ride, and accepts the contact. While being a seasoned pro out on the trail, she is still quite green in the arena, and will require finishing touches under the guidance of an experienced horseman/professional in order to show.  Gypsy thoroughly enjoys having a job, and is learning how to stay in a consistent frame with body control. She truly has the talent to move up the levels within a program. This mare would be wonderful in a Working Equitation, Dressage, or Ranch Riding program.  It would not take much to have her going in a full bridle.

Gypsy hauls out wonderfully, and remains quiet in new environments.  She has been doing excellent with lateral work, leg yielding, shoulder/haunches in.  Gypsy comes equipped with her own motor, and is not an exhausting kick kind of ride. She has a snaffle mouth and does best in a consistent program. Gypsy has never offered to buck, rear, or bolt under saddle. She loves to be turned out to pasture but can also be stalled. Absolutely zero bad stable vices. Easy to load, quiet to clip, hassle-free to be around.

She wants to naturally be quiet, and please her rider.  Walking through water, over logs, bridges, and hills is no difficult task for her.  Gypsy is not fazed by much and can be seen on video handling tarps/flags/dragging barrels with a great brain.  

 

Gypsy is an easy keeper, barefoot, and is UTD on care. She has a cosmetic scar on her knee from being caught in a fence as a baby. Vet work, flexion, and x rays are all clean on the knee. She is sound, sane, and ready to come into your program!
