Krafts RZ Joe
2008. 15.1-15.2H. AQHA. Gelding.
$7,500 - SOLD in 1 hour!
Retiree folks on a budget, you need this boy! Spend those golden retirement years riding a gelding that will take CARE of you! “Silver” is a super safe, easy going, well-broke, pleasure/trail riding gelding. He is the kind that stays broke with time off, and when pulled out of the pasture on a random Tuesday is happy to go on a ride around the farm without issue. Standing right in between 15.1-15.2H this 2008 AQHA registered grey gelding is looking for an older gal/guy to call him theirs.
Silver is incredibly kind, he loves affection, and has respectful ground manners. He is easy to get along with, simple, and uncomplicated as they come. He is a “chill dude” and is the same horse whether you ride him 1x a year or 1x a month. Absolutely no cold-back, buck, rear, spook, bolt etc. Silver has a great “point n shoot” handle. This guy is simple to operate; one hand broke for easy neck reining, stops easy, moves off leg respectfully, and has a comfortable jog that you will want to ride all day long! Smooth – honest – and SAFE. Sounds like Prince Charming to me!
Go check the cows, ride the fence lines, or explore a new trail. You will be smitten on this guy. He loves to take it slow & mosey down a new trail. Silver is accustomed to traffic, tractors, 4 wheelers, cattle, barking dogs, and deer in the woods. He has been there, seen that, done that! You can ride him through water crossings, navigate up and across a bridge, step over a fallen tree branch, ride him in an open field or a thick wooden bridlepath. Silver does not mind if brush touches his sides and he does not get easily excitable (even if the horses come running up to the fence)! Silver has paid his dues as a former lesson, ranch, family gelding – and he did that job well, kindly and patiently packing around beginners. He can certainly take a joke and will put up with a rider that doesn’t have the best seat /aids.
Silver is UTD on all care: Dental, farrier, coggins, chiro, etc. He stands quiet tied, easy to catch, loads easy onto the trailer, and travels to new places with ease. He stands for mounting and will fall asleep in the cross ties as you bathe or groom him. Silver is most comfortable in steel shoes with a frog support pad for added heel and limb support. I will not entertain a speed event or jumping home for him. Special preference to a retiree looking for a beautiful, well trained, well-seasoned gelding that can offer a slower paced kind of lifestyle! He will certainly continue to serve as an insurance policy, and will take care of any rider aboard. Silver is located in Terrell, TX. Shipping can be coordinated to any state.
