Looking for a super fun, SAFE, and colored kid horse?! “Josie” is a darling 2009, 15H, Grade QH mare that has so much to offer in a fun bay roan package!   She has lived on a ranch most her life and has been used by a 69-year-old man to check cattle, inspect fence lines, and babysit his grandkids. If you are looking for a babysitter, jungle gym, fun, SAFE, and sweet mare to join your family – here she is. Kids crawl all over, under, and around her while shooting nerf guns, doing cartwheels, and running amuck!  Josie has been to town, rides in parades, trail rides, and is happy to do any task you have in mind. Seasoned and quiet around cattle, traffic, balloons, tarps, flags, tractors, 4 wheelers, etc!  She is used to the kids running out to the pasture with their halter/leadropes, and riding her up to the house bareback. Josie is tolerant and patient with the kids that bounce around in the saddle & have busy hands. She picks up both her leads in the arena, stops, backs, and has a good neck rein. Josie loves to trail ride; she is confident, brave, and willing to go through the pond, over bridges, steps right over logs, and down between gullies. Josie is very sweet and will stand tied for hours being groomed and doted on.   She loads onto any trailer, is good for the farrier/vet, can be turned out with others, and has no vices. She is one of those that can go months without being ridden, and ride up gentle the next day. She has never offered to buck, rear, bolt, kick, etc. She rides in a Jr cowhorse bit, dog bone Dutton medium bit, or a snaffle! Current coggins, feet just trimmed, recent dental float this month. Josie has super clean legs, no injuries or soundness issues. She currently lives out with other mares/geldings and is a pleasure to be around.
