Keeping your budget in mind! “Jet” is a family friendly, therapeutic riding, trail riding, obstacle challenge, beer drinkin’ husband safe gelding!!  Big registered 16H gentle giant, born in 2008. Unlike his name he is super laid back, more whoa then go, VERY very quiet, and not spooky at all. With a super sweet personality, he is a big snuggle bug with a HUGE heart. 

Jet is very friendly and will greet you at the fence, waiting to put his head in your arms!   In his younger life, he won $21,300 on the track, and then went on to have a very successful career as a chuck wagon horse in Canada. You just know he was exposed to a lot of shenanigans at the Calgary Stampede! Imported down to the states just a few years ago, he has been a family/guest/youth horse ever since. Jet loves being turned out with friends, he enjoys going on trail rides, and does not require any lunge prep. Ride him once a week or once a year – he will be the same ride each time! I adore his “ranch horse” mentality, and he has a touch of goofy personality (plays with his lips).

He will take you through water, over bridges, and will step over fallen branches with ease. He will ride out alone, or with a group of friends. You can shoot a gun off him, ride him safely in traffic, around tractors/4 wheelers, you can carry the flag off him, or flap a tarp all around him too. He isn’t nervous/jittery at all – quite the opposite actually, with ZERO care in the World. Jet is also very smooth and comfortable to ride – he will go around happily on a loose rein at your desired speed under english or western tack. He is very seasoned off property, loads/unloads, is good for vet/farrier, he stands tied, loves baths, and getting attention.  He is an easy keeper, respectful on the ground, and has no known vices. Jet LOVES kids and is super gentle and trustworthy with them.

I’d LOVE to find him a husband, grannie, or a family of his own. One where they have a large beautiful pasture that he can call home forever. He is a super sweet, honest, and kind gelding and deserves the best.  Jet is up to date on dental, farrier, and coggins.
