“Copper” is a fancy broke, bombproof, confidence booster for the entire family to enjoy. Copper is a thickly built 14.2H 18 year old APHA mare. This mare is so fun and comfortable to ride with her incredibly fancy-broke, joy-stick, type handle. She spins, works a gate, side passes, has beautiful lope-offs, guides around 1 handed on a draping rein, has an incredibly soft backup, and stops on a dime.  Copper rides around like a western pleasure horse, and has even competed at local level shows in reining/trail/pleasure/halter! She has also won checks in the ranch sorting. Recently, she has been a Queening/Drill team horse for a youth rider and is not fazed by new environments. Copper is the kind of horse you can turn out for a year, and bring up without a worry. She has zero bad habits and rides gentle every ride. She stands perfectly quiet for mounting and dismount and is extremely forgiving to a beginner riders mistake. Out on the ranch she has been used to check fence lines as well as push cattle.

This mare would be the PERFECT step-up horse for a child coming off a pony or for an older lady wanting to take it slow. She is easy and safe out on the trail, and is not spooky. Crossing water, over logs, bridges, and through tunnels is not a problem for Copper. She handles everything in stride, and has a great mature mindset. Copper sells with a current coggins, has registration papers/transfer in hand, and is currently barefoot.
