Creating Sensation
2018. APHA. 16.1H. Mare.
$12,500
Don’t try any of these things with your three-year-old at home – “Creating Sensation” is a remarkably well minded, ‘Bombproof’, broke-broke, 2018, APHA mare by The Original Cowboy and out of a Zippos Sensation daughter. Affectionately known around the barn as “Avery”, likely you might mistake her for a 15-year-old, as she is SAFE, SANE, and sports a been- there -done- that personality. Avery stands 16.1HH at the wither, and she isn’t done growing yet! Avery is thickly made, with good bone, and excellent feet. She is slow legged and incredibly comfortable to ride. I cannot rave enough about how nice this young prospect is, and she has certainly proven herself in the show ring already. She was the High Point Paint for the 2-year-old Futurity at 4-H State Show, and was 5th in the State Futurity Stock/Ranch Work. Her full sister was a Reserve World Champion in the Green HUS in 2016, and Circuit Champion Zone 2 Jr HUS! Under the new APHA rule change, Avery will qualify for APHA regular papers! Avery is enrolled into the Breeders Trust, and has been shown in: HCHA, State 4-H, and the Morgan Horse Show. She is a showmanship machine, will exceed in the pleasure classes, navigate through a horsemanship pattern, be versatile in the ranch/trail classes, and will double as a Hunt Seater! Avery has the best ground manners, and is easy on a longline by voice command. You will never have to worry about her getting silly or freshening up on you, just saddle up- get on- and go! You can lope her around with her bridle off, she has a started spur stop, and is doing great with her lateral work. If you are looking for a superb all-round mount for your daughter to grow with, Avery is your girl. She is always happy to greet you at the gate with her kind expression and soft baby-doll eyes. No vices, happy in a barn stall, or turned out in a pasture. Avery has participated in Halloween events, been ridden in Parades, hauled to the lake for trail rides, and has been rode through town/in traffic! She has seen ATVS, tractors, cattle, barking dogs, traffic, and is fine with loud commotion. On the trail, she will go through water, over bridges, navigate over fallen branches, and walk between gullies. Not many youngin’s have had THIS much exposure! Avery is quiet, calm, and never spooky. Often, she is curious and enticed by what is going on around her. Avery was a High School students Senior Project, who broke/trained her herself. With her excellent brain, patient mentality, and willing demeanor she was a breeze to bring along. Her owners mother is a veterinarian herself, so rest assured she has had the utmost care. Daughter off to College now – and it’s time Avery continues on her successful path as a show or family mount! Superb home, that will send occasional updates is a MUST. Extra preference to a show home preferred!
Avery is barefoot, easy to catch/bridle/saddle, stands for mounting, clips, ties, bathes, loads onto a slant or a straight trailer, super easy keeper, and can be handled/ridden by ANYONE. She just had her teeth floated by my certified equine dentist, current on shots/coggins/deworming etc. I had this mare to ride last Fall, and she was such a pleasure! She was turned out for 6 months to grow a bit, and is back in my barn to be sold!
Avery had a recent vetting this Spring before coming into my program, she is sound and will pass a PPE! She has a small amount of scar tissue from a healed laceration on her left hind leg from getting cast in her stall. Purely cosmetic, and clinically insignificant (vet says it will decrease in size overtime!). Pictures available upon request.
Here is an excellent opportunity for a youth or amateur who wants a well-bred prospect to bring along themselves, or with the guidance of a trainer. This is one you can show now, trail ride on, and later on use as a broodmare. This lovely mare is located in Terrell, TX and can be shipped affordably to any state.
