“Cowboy” is a great gentle trail blazer, looking for his next person to call his.  Cowboy is a fantastic partner to take on some of the most extreme trails – he goes through anything, will climb the steepest hills, and loves water! Living 90% of his life on a family cattle ranch, he is accustomed to moving cattle from pasture to pasture and is not spooky on the trail. This flaxen maned grade gelding stands right at 14.2HH, and was approximately born in the year 2013. He has tolerated all sorts of youth shenanigans, from Christmas Parades, Halloween Parties, to running up and jumping on him from behind. He is great to get on and go hit the trails on or off property. Cowboy enjoys being on a loose rein, and carries his head naturally level with his withers and plugs along. He is happy in the front or the back, and will go your desired speed.  He has a basic handle and neck rein that is easy for anyone to use. He softly collects into the bridle, will back great, good whoa, and will work a gate. Cowboy has ultra comfortable gaits that have you feeling like you are floating on a cloud.  He has had a rope thrown off him, carries the flag, tarp, drags things, and is not bothered by dogs/tractors.  Cowboy wants to find himself a leisure type of home, he could go off and be a fantastic obstacle challenge, western dressage, or sorting horse too! We will not sell him to a barrel racing type of home, as he does not enjoy going fast/ being whipped on. He is respectful on the ground, gets along with a herd, and is easy to catch. Loads onto any trailer, ties, bathes, good for farrier/ vet, and stands quiet to be saddled. If you are looking to play around on the trails and enjoy yourself – Cowboy is for you! He can sit for long periods and ride up gentle without issue.  He has lived on a ranch, and prefers that life style. He has been in the same family since he was a yearling.
