Sonic is an AQHA registered, 16H, 2016, beautiful sorrel gelding. He is a total people pleaser with the coolest character.

Looking for a reliable trail horse that is sure footed every single time? Sonic is happy to go anywhere you point him! He has logged many trail miles all over Texas; he will go through water, walk over fallen branches, over bridges, in between gullies, up hills etc. Sonic has been rode downtown in traffic, has been exposed to ATVS, wildlife, cattle, barking dogs, tractors, traffic, tarps, flags etc.  He hauls great and behaves off property. Point at the trailer and he will load himself, he stands quiet tied, has respectful ground manners, is easy to catch, easy to saddle/bridle, and is a gentlemen for the vet/farrier.  

Ride him out alone, or with a group- he is eager to go on a new adventure each and every time! Sonic is a gentle soul, he is not a bronc, and has no bad habits.  He is big and gentle enough for your inexperienced husband to play “cowboy” on and hit the trails! He has had kids on him and he is a total packer! Sonic is incredibly intelligent and takes everything in stride. He is a quick learner and will warm up to new things quickly. Sonic is lovely to ride on a draped rein, and is always right their waiting for your next cue. His gaits are steady eddie like, which are not too quick or fast.

Formerly, he was a trusty lesson horse – which he was a superstar at! His easy gaits and push style like handle make him a solid choice for someone learning the ropes. He will go English, Western, and will even pop over a cross rail or two.  He began his performance career as a youngster on the track, but proved to the crowd he was best fit for the slowmo kind of lifestyle.  He is definitely no star athlete, but if steady, handsome, and safety are your three top priorities… he is all about it! Easy in a snaffle or a dog bone Dutton medium bridle! He can live inside or out, and is not dominant in a pasture setting. Overall, this guy is lovely to be around. He is incredibly easy and fun to handle.

Sonic has a current coggins, recently had his teeth floated by my equine dentist, and is UTD on farrier/shots/deworming. Sound, no health issues or maintenance. Registration papers in hand.
