“Bear” is a reliable, quiet, and SAFE gelding for any rider to enjoy. He is a great babysitter and confidence booster for young, old, or timid beginner rider. He is a perfect first horse for any family. Bear is a grade Q.H., born in 2006, and stands a stout 15.1HH with thick bone and substance. Bear waits for his riders next cue, and will take care of his rider.   He rides out quiet alone, or with a group out on the trail and does not argue when needing to cross over bridges, down in gullies, through water, or over fallen tree branches. Bear has a solid brain and has absolutely no bad habits. He has not offered to buck, rear, bolt, kick, crib, bite, weave, etc!

Bear has been roped off of, has pushed cattle on the ranch, and sorted. My own timid niece has ridden him, and he never made a wrong step. He loads up onto any trailer easily, and rides calm in new environments.

He will thrive in a family atmosphere where he can be doted on by kids, getting lots of horse cookies and attention.  Bear stands quiet for mounting, saddling, vet/farrier, etc. He is barefoot, no injuries/scars, and has no known medical/soundness issues. Currently he is being fed alfalfa/grass hay and turns out well with others. He has a current coggins in hand.
