“Robin” is a beautiful registered APHA (solid) mare, standing 15H!  Born in 2011, this pretty mare is a clean slate to finish your way! She had 90 days of reining training with Zeke Zacharias her 4-year-old year, and then was an occasional trail horse/ pasture fluff for 6 years after that due to owners limited time. She has been brought back into a full program this Fall, and worked a feed lot pushing cows, opening gates, and checking fence lines on 100+ acres for a month. She just spent the last 30 days with us being tuned up from a western dressage approach. She is absolutely the sweetest mare in the barn, and loves affection. Robin is an elegant mover, she has a desirable uphill build, a beautiful floating trot that is very balanced, and a canter that you could sit for hours.  She is a quick learner, and eager to please. She is a “push” laid back kind of ride, when you quit riding – she follows your seat. She moves off leg nice, has a good started pivot, collects into the bridle, fantastic whoa, and backs soft. She makes for a beautiful intro level/1st level dressage mount, and could double as a western horse as well. Robin crosses water, goes over bridges, steps over fallen logs, cruises over the teeter totter, and rides well in town.  Robin will do best with a teenager or amateur working along side a trainer to bring her up the levels.  A timid or nervous rider will not do this mare justice, and she thrives with consistency. Robin is sound, no blemishes on her, no maintenance, barefoot, recent dental on file, and easy to have around. No vices, but maybe a touch on the green side. She is not marey- and has good ground manners. She loads, stands tied, quiet to mount, good for farrier/vet, and gets along in a herd.  Owner is shifting her focus to her dog breeding business and is getting out of horses.
