Flashy, young, quiet, and good minded geldings like “Ace” are far few and in between. This athletic boy is sired by a son of Color Me Smart and is out of a Delta Flyer mare. Ace is a young 2013 model standing at 15.2 hands. Ace has an in your pocket personality and is not spooky by any means. If you were to look up the word gentlemen in the dictionary a photo of Ace would appear. I think we all can appreciate the types of geldings that only want to go the speed that you want to go. By nature, Ace has a quiet and has a laid-back personality. Ace is such a character and loves to play out in the pasture. He has excellent ground manners, stalls well, has no vices/bad habits, and gets along well with other horses. Ace is the first to greet you at the gate and loves his grooming time! He is never quick to get hot or jiggy and will walk out on the trail alone or with a group. In the filming of this video he had no prior desensitizing to the tarp/flag and he literally fell asleep while the tarp was draped over his body and the flag was waved over his face a million times... Hello Ace… yeah, you can wake up now! This gelding has just been tuned up by a professional reining trainer and is ready to go in the show pen.  The trainer had nothing but good things to say about this sweet gelding.  He is soft and supple throughout his body and will ride up into the bridle like a working horse should. He has a beautiful cadence in his canter and is always thinking about a stop. Ace has a started spin and will perform flying changes if set up correctly. Bred to eat up a cow and super catty on his rear end, make a cow horse out of him!  Team ropers, I’m talking to you…. Look at that big stop- take him and turn him into a head/heel horse.
