UPDATE 2/2/2016!! : We took Scarlet to the English trainer at the end of January 2016 and in the video below it shows her being schooled over jumps for the first time. Scarlet was hauled out to this new arena and rode out very quietly (no lunging needed!). This mare is so quiet you don't even know your riding a young one. She shows strong potential as a HUS or H/J mare. Jumps round and brave. Smart smart smart! If you like riding a big strided "flowy" mover this is your gal!

"Scarlet Proposal" is a 2012, 16h(and growing), APHA registered, mare. This mare is bred to take you to the top. Scarlett is out of a loud overo mare and is sired by an APHA  Champion, "IMpressive PROposal". Impressive Proposal has a Superior HUS, ROM WP, ROM Halter, Trail and Green Working Hunter points. 
This mare is built correctly; with clean legs, a very elegant head. "Scarlet"  is the definition of FANCY!  Showing promising potential in the show industry western or english! She would make a flawless HUS, Working Hunter, or EQ mare. Scarlet was started under saddle later summer of 2015, having 60+ days professional training under her belt she is progressing flawlessly. Scarlet is ready for a show home to continue her training and take her to the top! She is easy and quiet enough for any level of rider to finish her with guidance from a trainer. 

Scarlet has had extensive ground work done. Respects your space and has a light gentle handle to her. She has a 'curious' type of personality and is a sweet heart to work with. She has a willing to learn personality and is always trying to please her rider.  She is the first to greet you at the gate and will stand patiently tied at the trailer, for the vet/farrier ect.  She is light on the end of a lunge line and is super easy to lunge as she responds to your body language to stop and change directions. She is comfortable with tractors, dogs, and tarps.  Scarlet has been hauled out and does not bat an eye when she is in a new arena or environment. Scarlet remained focused and quiet while being ridden in a huge covered arena while they were power washing the metal bleachers.
She isn't a dead head and has a motor when asked. Scarlet covers a lot of ground with a beautiful floating step. Rides around in a D ring snaffle. She is doing well transitioning up/down off your seat, slides to a stop, moves off leg pressure, and will ride on a loose rein down the trail. She is doing well with her lateral work/ moving her shoulders/hips over. Super fancy and a very pretty smooth strike off at the canter and soft transitions back down to a walk.  Scarlet is grasping the concepts of neck reining and has a natural low headset.  With her calm demeanor she would make a lovely asset to your show barn or as a simple trail horse. 

Loads on/off a trailer, walks over bridges, down the trail, stands tied, walks through water ect.
Scarlet is a pleasure to have in our barn, a sweetiepie to work with, happy kept in a stall or out in the pasture. Easy keeper on coastal hay and is currently barefoot. Completely utd on all shots, coggins, deworming, farrier, ect.  Scarlet was born and raised on the property she is at now so an approved home is a must.  Scarlet would also be suitable for a teenager or individual working under a trainer. She is in shape and ready to go! She will stay in training and her price will increase accordingly. This is such a lovely talented mare (non marish!!) who has a heart of gold and a ton of try. 
Scarlet is offered for sale at $6,500.  At this time we are not entertaining trades or trials. Shipping arrangements in and out of state can be arranged.
