"Lola Rose” is a correctly built beautiful red roan mare sired by a son of Peptoboonsmal. Rose has all the fancy buttons, has a great brain, and is broke broke broke!  Take her bridle off and cruise her around -she is honest, comfortable, and FUN! One of the sweetest ‘ in your pocket’ type personalities that a mare can have. Rose is quiet, has been rode by youth riders, and has extensive trail riding experience. She has seen just about everything there is to see out on the trails and is sure footed on rough terrain. She is my ‘go-to’ horse for whatever I need done around the ranch. She will work a gate, pivot, side pass, collect up into the bridle, has a hard stop on “whoa” and knows her leads.  If I have family in town she is my saintly reliable packer and is a golden star when it comes to lessons for my kiddos. In the video above you will see a ten year old ( who hasn’t ever rode this mare) riding her out in the pasture and in the arena.  She is finished in showmanship and has been shown by a youth rider in 4-H and in local shows. She has been hauled to different trails, arenas, and shows and is an absolute doll to handle. Rose has excellent ground manners and will hop right in the trailer. She would be a terrific horse for anyone looking to have fun out on the trail or in the show pen. She is bred nice enough and has a great foundation to go on with if you would like to make a SHOT, ranch riding, ranch roping, or reined cow horse out of her. Ride her now & breed her later. Rose is one of those horses that everyone is looking for. I absolutely adore ‘Rose’ –but, unfortunately, I am looking to rehome her as I need a new truck.

Rose is sound, requires no special maintenance, has absolutely no bad habits/vices, and can live inside or out. She is currently barefoot and is an easy keeper.   Currently turned out in a big herd setting and is lowest on the totem poll.
