McCalls Buck Tip is an exceptionally athletic - well started buckskin 2013 gelding. He stands 14.1 hands with a few more years of growing ahead of him.   "Scooter" is a gorgeous gelding by Cutting World Champion "TIPPY TOE PLAN". His dam is by leading sire "BET ON ME 498". With some of the industries leading stallions on his papers (Freckles Merada and Smart Little Lena) he carries on the same talent and charisma. Scooter is a sweetiepie to be around, is very gentle, and has a quiet disposition. Always the first to greet you at the gate and ready to go to work! Scooter started his riding career off the right way at a cutting trainer. While still being green he jogs and lopes around collected and soft in a snaffle, pivots, backs, side passes, works a gate, and will push a cow. For a green three year old he already has a ranchy neck rein and his lateral work is quite impressive!! Scooter wants to really use his hind end in his turn-arounds, stops, and back ups.  He has been started on the flag and has been exposed to cattle. Will trail ride anywhere- walk through any terrain- through water- through brush- over hills- you name it Scooter can do it. This is the quiestest most broke youngster I have ridden in a long time- he rides around like a gentlemen (he never takes a wrong step!). Punchy, quick, and wont be afraid to get low on a cow. Scooter will load right up into the trailer, stands quietly while tied, rides confidently in new places, and even doesnt mind his whiskers and bridlepath to be clipped up! Scooter does wiggle around when you pick up his hind feet- typical baby stuff that will go away with time and handling. Solid minded gelding with an excellent future ahead of him! Even when he has been out of work for weeks at a time he picks it right back up- never a broncy moment with this gelding. After a few weeks off I threw on a halter and jumped on him bareback and he rode quiet up to the barn and shot this video for you guys. Will try and get a video on the flag/cow but check him out now before it's too late! He is one of those geldings that was just born broke and quiet- but not a deadhead.
