“Jake” is a handsome trail blazer! I’ve never seen a shinier coat on a horse before- he shines like a penny in the sun! Jake is great for a novice rider that wants to go push cows, ride down the trail, check fences, or do basic ranch work. He has a ground covering walk and walks through all obstacles that may be encountered out on the trails. You can ride him bareback & in a halter straight out of the pasture. He is quiet, been there done that, and requires no prep to go ride. He has never offered to buck or do anything naughty. Jake has gone through the mounted patrol certification course, and has been exposed to sirens tarps traffic etc. He has been used in team sorting as well with an 11 year old girl. Jake has great bare-feet, stands tied, is a good boy for the farrier, and loads easily into a trailer. If your looking for one to saddle up and go ride down the trails now… Jake is your guy! This boy is beautiful – and totally a sweetheart.  He just got his teeth floated, vaccines, and a fresh coggins – he is ready to roll!
