“Willow” is the barn favorite with her sweet personality and love for attention. She will stand tied in the cross ties all day getting pampered and groomed. Willow is a TANK! They don’t make these types of mares with this bone, substance, and athletic ability much often. Willow has great hair -with a thick long tail and a shiny coat. Willow would make anyone quite happy, as she is easy to get along with and is a joy to ride.

Willow is nicely broke and has 3 comfortable gaits. Her lope is comparable to a rocking chair and she has a nice pitter patter jog. She stops on whoa, collects into a frame, side passes, walks over poles and bridges etc. Willow has been lightly shown in 4H and at local horse shows in English/ western pleasure/ showmanship/Halter/ and trail. Does not freshen up (even on those cold days – the day we filmed it was 24 degrees). Saddle her up, get on her, and have some fun!

This beauty has a soft eye and not a mean bone in her body – she has taken care of riders from kids to adults and always aims to please her rider. Out on the trails and in new environments she rides quiet and does not look to spook.  She will ride out on the road, around tractors, and does not mind wild turkeys/deer/hogs that I have on my property. I have ridden her back in the deep thick brush and she has been very sure footed and willing.

Willow is ready to make the addition to your family! She is UTD on all her care and has a current coggins. She is an easy keeper, is sound, and requires no maintenance. Big black hooves- shod up front. Willow is easy to catch, load in a trailer, and will allow you to clip her without a twitch/halter. Super easy peasy mare! She has no bad habits and is happy either in a stall or turned out in the pasture. I would not consider her mare-y.  Whether you are looking for a sturdy and SAFE trail partner, a fancy local show horse, or just a fun broke riding horse- Willow is your gal!
