Ridden by children and adults, Gracie would be appropiate for any level of rider. She has been succefully shown at the local level in Iowa & Texas in all around classes. Excelling in Showmanship and Western Pleasure this mare also goes Hunt Seat and jumps small 2"-2.3" courses as well. Soft in the face, super broke, drop your hand and "Voice" command type of ride. Rides around in a full bridle or in a simple D Ring. Side passes, pivots, rides softly on a loose rein, picks up both leads by the shift of your weight, and rates back down off your seat. She has wonderful ground manners and has an excellent handle under saddle.
Grace does lovely in lessons and has taught several beginners the ropes. Newbies who are learning to trot & canter do lovely on her as she is so smooth, patient, and forgiving. She enjoys trail rides and is very quiet around tractors, cattle, tarps, guns, ect- She is as close to "bombproof" as they get!
There are no holes in this mare. Respects your space, stands quietly for the vet/farrier & to be saddled. Dependable every ride & consistent in the show ring. Only vice I would give her is I have seen her to be cinchy at times when saddleing - nothing major at all.
With a pretty head, three soft gaits, and an elegant disposition. She is just bound to make someone another exceptional show, pleasure, or trail horse.
UTD on shots, Farrier, coggins, deworming, ect. Easy keeper on Coastal hay. Happy turned out with a herd or up in a barn. Shoed all the way around. No show prep. No maintenance and very easy to be around.
Owner must sadly sell as the kiddos have lost interest in showing.
This is truely a one of a kind mare.
