Buzz Light Year

2009. 15h. Quarter Horse. Gelding.

SOLD! Congrats Jaylee in Colorado!

Buzz Light Year" or as we call him "Buzz" quickly became the barn favorite in a matter of no time! Buzz is a solid 15 hand 2009 model. He is always the first horse to meet you at the gate and loves to receive neck scratches! Gets along with other mares and geldings (lowest on the totem pole here in my pasture) and is happy inside a stall or turned out.
Buzz was the "olden day cowboy using horse" born and raised on a ranch pushing cattle, checking fences, ridden all over on the trails, and now is looking for another job!  He has the patience and heart to teach a new rider many things. Would be the perfect family gelding or simple trail horse for that weekend trail rider or camping advocate! Ridden in a D ring snaffle. Stands quietly at the trailer, to be saddled, for farrier, vet, ect. Loads on/off a trailer no problem (except he prefers to walk out then back out). Buzz rides the same whether you keep him legged up or you ride him twice a year. Buzz has never offered to do anything naughty under saddle and would actually prefer to mosey on along. He is very forgiving to that accidental leg bump or bouncy rider in the saddle. He has more whoa then go, but when asked will happily go along with the speed you desire.  Super smooth transitions and an easy trot to either sit or post. Is super gentle and quiet on the ground and under saddle. Rock solid with tarps, walking in creeks, moving objects, dogs, over logs, in ditches, over hills ect. Buzz has had a gun shot off of him and rope swung off of him and he couldn't care less.

Buzz is utd on shots, coggins, and deworming. Buzz stands barefoot. Paper's could not be located so he is selling as a Grade.
Buzz foundered 6 months ago due to seducing his owner into feeding him waaay too much grain(what can I say, he is just that much of a sweetie pie).  My professional references have examined Buzz and with a strict diet of only coastal hay he will be just fine to do whatever job you put him to do! He has never taken a lame step while in work with us.
Buzz would make an excellent Christmas present for your family or spouse! He has the forgiveness and patience to teach a new rider the ropes.

Buzz is offered for sale at $4,000.
